A non-teacher’s guide to planning and delivering a road safety lesson

If you'd like to attend this workshop you must register please. Click here and scroll down the page to see the booking form.

This workshop will build on a presentation delivered as part of the Fringe programme on Wednesday 9 November.

Road safety sessions are often being delivered by people who do not have a background in education, but who want to make a difference to vulnerable road users. With time in front of an audience often very limited, it is important to make sessions as effective as possible.

The workshop will cover: lesson planning; learning styles; delivery styles; audience engagement; classroom management; and evaluation potential.
