Sarah Rogers and Louise Winch, Project Centre

In the ever-evolving landscape of urban mobility and traffic management, School Streets have emerged as a transformative solution for creating safer, healthier environments around educational institutions. With a wealth of experience in traffic engineering and parking consultancy, Sarah Rogers (pictured right) and Louise Winch (pictured left) have played a pivotal role in delivering School Streets projects that prioritize the safety of children, encourage active travel and reduce congestion.

They have been at the forefront of School Streets initiatives, most notably through their recent work with Medway Council. As part of the Healthier Safer Streets project, they successfully project-managed teams responsible for the delivery of 10 School Streets enforced by ANPR cameras in this location as well as others. Their expertise ensured the effective planning and execution of these initiatives, making school journeys safer and more sustainable for children and parents alike.

With extensive experience in road safety, traffic engineering and urban mobility, they continue to be a leading voice in the evolution of safer streets. Their contributions to School Streets projects showcase the power of thoughtful design, stakeholder collaboration and data-driven decision-making in shaping the future of urban transport.
