Learn2Live is a young driver/passenger education partnership that has been running for 16 years. Acting on research recommendations, Learn2Live transitioned from using fear appeals to one that utilises behavioural science to educate in a trauma-informed manner.

A randomised cluster trial of the new intervention has demonstrated significant positive outcomes.

Annabelle Priest works for the road safety team at Devon and Somerset Fire Rescue Service.

She co-ordinates the Learn2Live partnership which consists of multiple organisations, including 999 services and local councils.

Learn2Live runs road safety education events for 16-18 year olds in Devon, Somerset and Cornwall and are an active part of Vision Zero South West.
