NYRF delivering Projects for Young Riders

Building upon the RSGB Motorcycle Conference in February 25, where the emerging theme across the presentations was 'Young Riders', the National Young Rider Forum eagerly presents the first results from two Road Safety Trust Projects 'A view from the Saddle' and 'Young Riders Matter' and our new 'Try Ride' project, launched on 1st August 25.

Heidi Duffy MBE, Facilitator, National Young Rider Forum

Heidi Duffy MBE is passionate about preventing road death and serious injury and has worked for many years in both Police Traffic and Road Safety Partnership roles.

Heidi is currently the facilitator for the National Young Rider Forum and the Shiny Side Up Partnership, both motorcycle casualty reduction groups, as well as working for Nottinghamshire Police in their Serious Collision Investigation Unit.

Heidi was proud to be awarded the Road Safety GB Achievement Award in 2023 and the Lifetime Achievement Award by Nottinghamshire Police in 2024.

Heidi is excited to be presenting at this year's National Road Safety Conference and asks each delegate to seize this great opportunity to reduce road traffic collisions by taking at least one idea from it and putting that idea into action in their area or organisation.
