Over the past two years, the Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership has worked to understand the local population's attitudes around visiting garages, especially among young people, with the aim of creating initiatives that effectively influence this concern and encourage a more active role in vehicle maintenance checks.

Through this work, it has become evident that further support and education are needed regarding garage anxiety, the importance of frequent maintenance and garage support such as payment plans and free car checks. The partnership has undertaken several projects to improve education, collaborating with garages and dealerships and hosting open evenings to share these crucial messages.
