BSI Consumer & Public Interest Network (CPIN)

BSI’s Consumer & Public Interest Network (CPIN) exists to make sure that the voice of UK consumers is heard in standards. It is made up of trained volunteers who are experts in consumer issues. If standards are to have a real impact, it’s essential that the people who use products and services – consumers – help create them.

CPIN members represent consumers on BSI standards committees so that they can influence standards while they’re being developed. They can also suggest new standards that might benefit consumers. Our representatives help to make sure that standards tackle real issues that will make a positive difference for consumers.
