Delivering a functional solution to address distracted driving
The world's first distracted driving programs have now been operational in Australia for a number of years, using Acusensus technology.
The learning from these pioneering schemes has now been evaluated in the UK, with more than 50 trial schemes run to date across England. This comes from a collaborative project between AECOM, National Highways and Acusensus, demonstrating how the AI based camera technology could work.
Geoff Collins is heading up Acusensus UK, bringing many years of enforcement expertise to bear, with the objective to make a practical distracted driving solution a reality. This presentation will explore the challenges and opportunities faced in such a rollout.
