Insights from Young Drivers: Shaping Safer Driving Behaviours

This presentation will delve into the motivations behind risky driving behaviours among young individuals and discuss strategies for fostering a culture of responsible driving. Too often, families suffer the devastating consequences of accidents involving young drivers, and Fay will argue that it is imperative we address this issue for the long-term safety of the roads.

Currently, the DriveSafe & StaySafe initiative is collaborating with young people from Aston University in Birmingham and the Yardley Community Protection Society to explore innovative approaches to positively engage with young drivers.

Supported by the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner, this pilot research focuses on identifying effective methods to encourage safer driving habits and promote courteous behaviour on the roads.
