Linking national and in-depth road collision investigation and healthcare data – the PRANA database

The ‘Data Sustains Lives’ project is a Road Safety Trust and DfT funded pilot linking national and in-depth road collision investigation and healthcare data together within the PRANA database.

Phil Martin will provide an overview of the PRANA database and Data Sustains Life project, including an overview of the challenges of linking road collision investigation and healthcare data – and the solutions that have been a success. He will provide insights from investigations into the quality of data linkage, early analyses from the linked database, plans for the future, and a call to action for the road safety analyst community.
