Work-related road risk: a growing challenge on London’s roads

Building on the work of academics, TfL has developed a way to estimate the proportion of work-related road collisions and casualties on London roads. The analysis by Transport for London discovered that there is a very high proportion of fatal and serious casualties involving a working driver or rider.

This presentation will explore collision rates that involve working drivers and riders and present possible approaches to reduce work-related road risk in London that can be adopted by other transport authorities.
