Safer Roads Stronger Communities Initiative
Ethos has substantial experience in working with clients in rural locations across the UK, including National Park Authorities, Town and Parish Councils. This has given a platform to develop the Safer Roads Stronger Communities Initiative, which is designed to create a road safety partnership that connects Town and Parish Councils across the country. This will allow best practice and guidance to be readily available and shared to deliver Ethos' vision, which is to support local communities to deliver safer roads that build stronger communities. A problem shared is a problem solved.
At the heart of the initiative is a series of opportunities for Town and Parish Councils to utilise Ethos' experience and knowledge to address road safety issues without compromising the unique environment that many rural towns and villages throughout the UK offer. An initial pilot of the initiative has proven to be well received, and in our view, promoting the initiative will increase awareness, and opportunities for local communities to get involved. Critical to the success of the project is the buy-in and support of highway authorities.
