The 2016 National Road Safety Conference will be held in Bristol on 15-16 November 2016.

The conference will be hosted by Road Safety GB South West region and held at the Bristol Marriott Hotel City Centre.

Bristol Marriott Hotel City Centre is located adjacent to Cabot Circus Shopping Centre and a short distance from Bristol Temple Meads railway station.

With a capacity of up to 700 delegates reception style and 600 theatre style, Bristol Marriott Hotel City Centre is one of the largest conference centres in southwest England. Amenities for guests include an indoor swimming pool, restaurants, fitness club and air-conditioned rooms.

Jeremy Phillips, who heads up the 2016 conference committee, said: “The Road Safety GB South West region is delighted to be hosting the 2016 National Conference.

“In our search for a suitable venue, we were keen to try and make the event accessible for as many people as possible. With excellent road and rail links, and its own airport, as a destination Bristol was always the frontrunner and the facilities at the Marriott are perfect for our event.”

The conference will be officially launched in January 2016, at which point delegates will be able to book a place at the conference. Once again, there will be a subsidised early bird rate for Road Safety GB and Academy members.
