This presentation is being delivered by Ruth Gore, chair for the Road Safety GB Yorkshire and Humber region, who offers all delegates a warm welcome to the region.

This is the third time that NRSC has been hosted in the Yorkshire and Humber region, and the conference committee have been working hard to bring and interesting and varied programme.

Ruth Gore, Marketing Officer, Safer Roads Humber

Ruth Gore has worked in the public sector for over 30 years and has been the marketing officer for Safer Roads Humber for 23 years. During this time, she has built up her road safety knowledge and has worked on a range of interesting and award winning projects. She is currently working on the implementation of the Safer Roads Humber Vision Zero strategy.

She has been the chair of the Road Safety GB Yorkshire and Humber region for a number of years and has helped organise the last three conferences in the region.
